Clinton Valley Kiwanis had our 19th annual W**e Tasting fundraiser last night.
We had a great turnout and will be able to help the homeless children in Macomb County. All proceeds from this evening go to MISD Homeless Coalition and Macomb Charitable Foundation.
The group below is employees of My Virtual Academy and half of them were volunteers for the event. We very much appreciate everyone involved with the evening. Mark it on your calendar for Oct 14, 2027 for our 20th W**e Tasting event! 🍷

We had a great time our senior BINGO. We hold this event monthly at Lakepoint Villa. Thank you to Elise and Claire for crocheting an animal for each of the seniors who attended. And they hand wrote notes to each resident. Would you like more information so you can come and help? Reach out! You will feel so good and have such a great time. ❤️🤍💙

Then the numbers go back in the raffle to be rolled around again next month. It goes through May 2027 I believe. And then we will start for the new year. We had our first meeting at our new location at Dimitri’s on Gratiot south of 23 mile. It was a very nice. The third Thursday of every month we meet there at 6 PM for our evening meeting. Come and check us out. We had Dana Leahman, and author of children’s books speak to us about her books and her caring feelings for children. Check her out also. We also had Pat Wyszynski from the Sterling Heights Kiwanis and they are doing a Motown Soup fundraiser. If you love the Motown Soup like we do, you might want to check that out as well for more information go to motownsoup.com or give Pat W a call at 586-634-6943.

Again, our meeting was very busy. We had no specific speaker but Wally Bieber from the Warren Kiwanis came to visit us. He brought us a donation check for the w**e tasting coming up in October. He also brought us one of our members a check for winning their monthly raffle. We love when he comes to visit! We had a potential new member come again and her name is Natalie. She will be joining us very soon! We have been very excited the last few months where we’ve had at least six new members join us! Please come and check us out. We are having a social event on Thursday, September 10 at 5:30. I believe at Hennessey’s on Hayes near 18 mile. We would love for you to come and meet us.
