Last Thursday's meeting was again a pretty full meeting! Our guest speakers were Anna Kroesing and Ngoc Do from VIBE Credit Union. They were talking about the community involvement from their business. Check out their website. We also had Paul from KnowResolve giving us an update for Dennis about what is going on with KnowResolve. Their non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting mental health and preventing youth suicides through outreach, advocacy and education. Check them out!

This is one of the many community service events we do. We host a senior BINGO monthly at Lakepoint Villa nursing home. Many of these people only see our Kiwanis group and it makes us sooo happy to see their joy! We sing happy birthday to any birthdays that are in the current month, and each of the attendees receives a gift. The quarters they win (EVERYONE wins) are like gold! They use them in their vending machines…and hide them when they get them. ❤️🤍💙 like more information? Reach out happy, to talk.

Clinton Valley Kiwanis meeting was very busy Thursday morning. We met at Martha T Berry, our new meeting place. Besides our literacy raffle, we had two speakers. Amy from First State Bank presented on how the bank can help nonprofits with their services. She spoke about grants, scholarships, and sponsorships. We also had one of our members, Barry, speak on Mental Health and Su***de Prevention, which is our signature program for Clinton Valley Kiwanis. This subject very near and dear to our hearts.

Clinton Valley Kiwanis members volunteered at the Martha T Berry Car Show on Sunday, July 26th. It was a beautiful day with a lot of old and beautiful cars! The residents of Martha T Berry enjoyed themselves as staff and their families took them around looking at the cars.
