During Red Ribbon Week, students at our local Sterling Heights high schools helped spread the message of making healthy, drug-free choices by creating posters with a powerful message: “Take My Hand and Make a Stand — Be Drug Free!” ❤️

From October 23–31, join the Sterling Heights Drug Free Coalition in celebrating Red Ribbon Week! This annual campaign raises awareness about the importance of living a drug-free life and encourages individuals, families, and communities to make healthy, safe choices.

Safely dispose of unused or expired medications and help prevent accidental use and misuse. Join us on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM–2 PM at one of our participating collection sites in Sterling Heights.

Don't forget to sign up and join us for our medicine safety program next Saturday with CARE of Southeastern Michigan, geared for ages 3-8! 💊

During this lesson, kids will identify who their safe and trusted adults are. They will also learn rules for taking medicine and our big safety rule: if we don’t know what something is we don’t touch it, we don’t taste it, and we don’t smell it.
