Frank Hughes School was honored to welcome Ayers Foundation Trust Chairman Janet Ayers and Chief Scholars Officer Shawn Kimble for a special visit! 🖤💛

We loved the opportunity to celebrate our students, share the exciting things happening at FHS, and highlight the work being done to help our Lions prepare for life after high school.

We are so thankful for the partnership between the Ayers Foundation Trust and our dedicated FHS faculty and staff. Together, we are helping students explore opportunities and take their next steps with confidence!

Thank you, Mrs. Ayers and Mr. Kimble, for visiting and for your continued commitment to our students and their futures! 🦁

💜💛 UNA Campus Visit 💛💜

Our seniors enjoyed a beautiful day at the University of North Alabama! ☀️

With perfect weather for exploring UNA’s campus, our students got a glimpse of college life and learned about the opportunities waiting for them after high school. Campus visits are such a fun way to help students picture their futures and discover what feels like the right fit!

An extra highlight was catching up with Ashlyn at lunch! She is loving UNA and the OTA program. We are so proud of her!

Roar Lions! 🦁💜💛

⭐️ FHS College Fair 2026 ⭐️

Ws welcomed representatives from colleges, career and technical schools, and military branches to FHS for our annual College Fair!

Students in grades 9–12 had the opportunity to attend and explore different paths for life after high school, ask questions, make connections, and learn more about the many options available to them. It’s never too early to start thinking about what comes next! 🎓

A huge THANK YOU to all of our representatives who took the time to spend the day with our students and to everyone who helped make the event possible. We appreciate you investing in our FHS Lions and their futures! 🖤💛

Such a great Monday with some of my favorite Ayers people! 💙

I loved getting to catch up with our Cumberland Region friends while several of us from the Middle Tennessee Region attended the MTSU True Blue Counselor Lunch today.

We got lots of great information to take back to our students, and MTSU surprised us by awarding a $2,500 scholarship to EVERY high school in attendance! Such an incredible opportunity for our students and definitely the highlight of the day!

Good information, great company, and an exciting scholarship to bring back to FHS!🎉
