Anyone is welcome to join us in the Cathy Melito Library from 9:00am-9:45am as Elaine will be sharing some of the Christian authors that Cathy loved the most! It will be a special time. The library will be open at 8:45am with coffee and your seat ready! 🤎

As I reflect upon my retirement, I am overwhelmed with gratitude towards all of you who made Food Distribution possible during my time as Director.

Thank you to Bill Buskey who helped show me how to run Food Distribution well.

Thank you to all our clients whom I formed special relationships with over the years and for all the love and laughs.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to ALL the volunteers who showed up to serve over the years. Thank you to every single client that stepped up to help us, every agency and all the various Food Pantries.

Thank you to Midlakes School District and all the athletes that showed up to help us on our busiest nights. Thank you to Sadie from Tops in Farmington, Steve from Upstate Milk, Steve from Farmington Race Track, Phelps Rotary Club, Stoltzfus Dairy Farm, Freihofer’s Bread (especially Regina), St. Felix Church, Calvary Chapel Church, Petco for all the boxes they supplied, various companies, scouts, and all the students that needed community service and chose to do it with us.

Deepest gratitude to Pam, Debbie, Julie, Larry and Lynn for always having my back, Jackie, Mike, Sue, Rose, Joe, Connie, Mary Kay, Fran, Bob, Rich, Brittany, Al & Elaine, Pastor Jeff, Pastor Nik & family, Les and Kim, Adam for helping make sure we were plowed during the winter, Trapper and Alice, John Luna, Jordan and Aidan, Nina, Kathy, Tom and Michele and so many more.

Thank you to everyone from Ontario Health Department, especially Christy and Judy.

I love you all and appreciate all you did for me and Wellspring Food Distribution!! God bless you all! Please keep showing up and doing the great work that you do, I’ll still see you around ❤️

After years of incredible faithful service and dedication to our Wellspring Food Distribution Center, Darla has now retired from her role as Director of Food Distribution. Don’t worry, she will still be here! She will still be serving but will simply not be the director anymore.

Darla, THANK YOU for the hundreds of ways you faithfully showed up to serve your church and hundreds of people in need in our surrounding communities. We saw your tireless labor of love show up consistently, yet it is not lost on us that you showed up even more behind the scenes on your own time to ensure that everything was kept in order and people in need were served.

You have loved and served well. Your love for Jesus and the people in our community has been consistently evident in your hard work and in your joy. The impact you have made on so many people is indescribable. We love you and well done!
