What a great day at Touch-A-Truck! 🚒🚛💙

A huge THANK YOU to all of the families and community members who came out today! We loved having the opportunity to connect with hundreds of people throughout the event.

Visitors were able to tour our Mobile Child Advocacy Center, learn more about the services we bring directly into our communities, and chat with our team about ways to help keep kids safe this Halloween. 🎃👻

Community events like this give us an important opportunity to connect with families before they ever need our services—sharing prevention information, building relationships, and making sure families know we are here if they need us.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, toured the RV, asked questions, grabbed some goodies, and helped make today such a wonderful event. 💙

Our team will be there to show you around, answer questions about what we do, and talk about Halloween safety as families get ready for spooky season. 👻🍬 We’ll also have helpful safety information and goodies for the kids!

Help CACFL bring our mobile Child Advocacy Center into communities across Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties.

This opportunity involves as-needed assignments to drive and set up the RV, remain onsite during outreach events, and assist with transportation for maintenance and relocation. The driver will also help track registration, inspections, and vehicle readiness.

Applicants should have experience driving an RV or similar large vehicle, a valid appropriate license, applicable insurance coverage and a clean driving record. A background check is required.

The Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday. 🇺🇸

We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful holiday with family and friends. 💙

Our offices will reopen on Tuesday, and our team will be ready to continue supporting children and families throughout Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties.

💙 Today, we are breathing a little easier.

Over the past several weeks, the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes, alongside our incredible multidisciplinary team partners throughout Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties, has asked New York State leaders to listen, stand with victims, and recognize what our communities stood to lose.

They listened. They stood with us. And they took action.

We are incredibly grateful to the state leaders who came forward to protect victim services and help preserve critical funding for Child Advocacy Centers across New York State.

Knowing that children will continue to have safe, child-friendly places to be heard, supported, and surrounded by trained professionals brings us tremendous joy and relief.

There is still work ahead, and our advocacy for strong, sustainable victim services will continue. But today, we are grateful.

To everyone who stood beside us, raised their voice, shared our message, and fought for these children—thank you. You made a difference. 💙

Together, we are stronger. Together, we heal.

What a great night at the Luke Bryan concert! 💙🎶

A huge thank you to CMAC for giving the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes the opportunity to participate in their nonprofit volunteer program. All tips from tonight’s concert are being donated directly to the CAC!

We’re grateful for the opportunity to engage with our community, raise awareness about the work we do, and have some fun along the way!

And a BIG thank you to our incredible CAC staff and volunteers who showed up and worked hard tonight. Your dedication to our mission and the children we serve means more than we can say. 💙

🚨 BIG NEWS AT CACFL! 🚨

We’ve been keeping something pretty exciting under wraps… and today, we FINALLY get to share it! 💙

✨ Introducing the NEWEST OFFICE of the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes! ✨

But this office is a little different…

It’s on wheels. 🚐💙

We are incredibly excited to officially reveal the CACFL Mobile Child Advocacy Center — complete with its brand-new look!

Our Mobile CAC will allow us to take our mission beyond the walls of our traditional offices and bring child-centered, trauma-informed services directly into the communities we serve.

For families facing transportation challenges, long travel distances, or other barriers to accessing services, we can now bring the CAC closer to them.

This is more than an RV.

💙 It’s an office.
💙 It’s a safe, child-friendly space.
💙 It’s greater access to services.
💙 And most importantly, it’s another way CACFL can show up for children and families when they need us most.

The newest CACFL office is officially ready to HIT THE ROAD! 🚐✨

Today, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sara Colacino for her incredibly generous donation of teddy bears to the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes.

This meaningful gift was made in honor of Lisa Meade’s mother, Margaret Waldron, celebrating her life and legacy by bringing comfort to children who have experienced abuse.

Because of Sara’s kindness, children who come through our doors will receive more than a teddy bear—they’ll receive a source of comfort, hope, and a reminder that they are safe, valued, and cared for during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Thank you, Sara, for honoring Kathy’s memory in such a beautiful way and for making a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. 💜

💙 OFFICE CLOSED MONDAY JUNE 15💙

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible staff for their hard work, dedication, and countless hours spent preparing for and executing our Shine Bright for Children Gala. Because of their commitment, the event was a tremendous success and will help us continue our mission of serving children and families throughout our community.

After weeks of preparation and a wonderful evening celebrating our cause, our team has earned a well-deserved day of rest.

The Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes office will be closed tomorrow to allow staff time to recharge. We will resume normal business hours the following day.

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of our mission. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children.
