We kicked off this Safety Week by joining some of our signatory contractors in taking some time to drive home the importance of safety on and off the job. Safety is a group effort and can't be done alone. If you see something wrong, speak up. Everyone deserves to go home the same way they came to work.

80 Hour Concrete/Mason Tending started this week. Our apprentices worked together and got some flat work done this week. Next week...mason tending. Great teamwork, crew and leadership by all. Nice job

Today is Workers Memorial Day.
Last year:

• 5,070 workers died on the job;
• 1,075 construction workers died, the 2nd most in any sector; &
• Workers spent 8 median days out of work due to injury/illness.

While all of these stats decreased over last year, we MUST do better.
Today, we honor our fallen. Tomorrow, we continue the fight.
Because a safe job is every worker's right.
