A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful women of Benton United Methodist Church for their warm hospitality, generous support, and encouragement of Harbor Safe House & Advocacy Center.

Our Executive Director, Suzanne Wimberly, recently had the privilege of joining the group for lunch and sharing about the work being done to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. The meal was wonderful, but what stood out even more was the genuine compassion and commitment these women showed for the families we serve.

In addition to hosting Suzanne, the group organized a donation drive and collected beautiful new items that will help make our shelter feel more comfortable and welcoming for survivors and their children.

There is something incredibly powerful about a community that chooses to care for its neighbors. Support like this reminds our staff, our volunteers, and most importantly our clients that they are not alone.

Thank you, Benton United Methodist Women, for your kindness, generosity, and the difference you are making in the lives of families in our community. ❤️
