🏕️ Your kids will love this! Russell Farm Art Center is hosting the popular Far Out Family Campout on November 7-8. Bring your own tent and lawn chairs, and we’ll bring the fun. Let’s make some family memories under the stars. The overnight event kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday and wraps up at 8 a.m. on Sunday at Russell Farm Art Center.

Cost: $30 pre-registration, $35 day of (per family of 5)

Make plans to attend the TCMGA’s Annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, October 17th, from 8 - 11 am at our Demo Gardens located at the Resource Connection, 1801 Circle Drive in Fort Worth! There will be great prices on high-quality plants!

We will have native and adapted plants, fall-blooming perennials, perennials for sun and shade, and much more! Bring the kids—we’ll have fun activities for them!

Any rural community with history to save may be interested.

Preservation Texas is accepting applications for our Historic Rural Log Building Grant Program, funded by a $750,000 grant from the National Park Service. Through this program, we will award $50,000 to $150,000 in matching grants to five to seven preservation projects involving historic log buildings across the state.

Eligible properties must be located in rural Texas communities with populations under 50,000 and be listed on or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Grants require a 25% cash match and will be awarded on a reimbursement basis. Nonprofits, government entities, and private property owners are all eligible to apply!
