The weather was really nice this morning. This afternoon isn't so bad either.
The firehouse dogs.

Miss Harlow doing even better today than yesterday. She def prefers to follow and not walk ahead while on leash.

She had her operation yesterday, was a long hernia and spay surgery. Shots. Nails trimmed.
She made it thru. She has 3 masses in her mammary chamber that need to be removed, she was under to long yesterday so we have to go back probably around January to have the masses removed.
Total was $512, for yesterday.
She already acts like she feels so much better and is very happy to be home. Back with her friends.
We raised 250 last week for food and toward her surgery. So needless to say, we were not able to pay it all yet.
So this week's $5 day will all go toward the remainder of her bill.
Please share.
If all of our amazing followers could do $1 each, we would be able to pay off her bill and our never ending outstanding vet bills and have enough left to buy more soft dog and cat food.

Queenie.
Spayed. Utd on shots. Inside only cat. Combo neg.
Cat and dog friendly.
She would love to find her forever home. Shes a little shy till she gets comfortable, then she will be your best friend. She came in as a feral with one baby. Baby was adopted, its mom's turn now. Shes approximately 7-8 years old.
I dont recommend smaller children, even tho she has not shown aggression, lil ones stress her out.

Adoption fee because she is older is $35
I will do a home check, vet check and meet and greet for her.

I am on the lookout out for someone who is:
Not allergic to cats
Not allergic to working with cats
Not allergic to work and getting dirty.
Someone who has 1 day maybe 2 a week , a few hours a day to help keep the catios up.
I have a tractor. So dirty boxes can be dumped and I can drive to dumpster.
Raking the outside catio out. Petting the ones who allow it. Cleaning water and food bowls. Cleaning the litter boxes.
Also, there are farm animals here. You would come in contact with chickens, and turkeys. Possibly a horse if she comes up out of the pasture. Possibly a pig or 8.
I really need some help with this. As my body is starting to limit what I can lift and get done in a day. Strictly volunteer work. Not a paid position.
Must love animals.
Be able to follow directions. No one under 18 for safety reasons.
One catio is 10ft wide by 40 ft long. 15 cats reside there.
The other is 8ft wide and 12 ft long and 10 cats reside there.
We are located just outside Rio Vista. With a cleburne address. And if course the 1st few times I will absolutely help you and show you everything you need to do.

I also have multiple dogs that could use some extra one on one time. This would be a slow process of getting to meet them. And understand thier behaviors and needs.

This is Fluffy Kitty. He is a free ranger. Semi feral.
He loves attention from a distance.

$5 Tuesday!!!

We got as much as we could last week. I have enough soft dog food for tomorrow. And maybe 2 days worth if canned cat food.
Also, on September 22nd, we have a senior girl, Reyna, going to have a hernia repair. $328.
I was also able to get 4 gallons of bleach, that is down to 1 gallon left now.

Please help us continue to help them.

(We have plenty of dry dog and cat food)

Other needed items
Cat litter, both clumping and pine pellets.
Bleach
Laundry soap
Trash bags

We are also needing more used towels, blankets, sheets.

With the prices of cat and dog food. Even tho i try to stretch every dollar. It just doesn't seem to go far.

Our Amazon wish list is pinned to the top of the page.

We have lots of dry dog food.

Canned dog and cat food, litter, bleach disinfectant wipes, vinegar, landry soap are all huge needs right now.

I was thier blankets, beds, towels and p*e pads daily.

Kennels are wiped down daily, I use washable rags 99% of the time. But for quick clean ups, the wipes are amazing.

Flea and tick meds are out again also. Both dog and cat. Small, medium and large sizes.

All this to keep them fed, comfortable and safe.

Always in need of used sheets, towels, blankets with no stuffing, and dog and cat beds.

The cats have also destroyed thier last cat tree. If anyone has any used one they no longer need they would love to have them.

We can pick up orders at tractor supply cleburne.

We have a few supporters that donate on a regular basis, and we so appreciate it all.

Between here and foster homes, we are feeding 35 cats and 50 dogs.

It takes a village.

Last week it was soft cat food. This week it's both, soft cat food and soft dog food. Maybe 2 days worth left. And we also have the 2nd ac in the dog cabin starting to go out. Cuz one wasn't enough this season. ( had to replace the one for the garage dogs)
We could really use some help!!!
