📣 We’re Expanding Our Board!
The Cle Elum Downtown Association is excited to announce that we are expanding our Board of Directors to include two additional Downtown Business Ambassador seats!
These seats are specifically designed for the busy downtown business owners who have great ideas, valuable insight, and experience living on the downtown street front every day—but may not have the time to be involved in all of the event planning and activities that often take place during business hours.
We know that running a business comes first, and we want to create a way for more of our downtown business community to have a voice without requiring a major additional time commitment.
🏙️ What Does a Downtown Business Ambassador Do?
It’s simple! We’re looking for downtown business owners who are willing to:
🏙️ Attend CEDA Board meetings
💬 Participate and provide feedback on downtown initiatives, events, projects, and ideas
🤝 Be a champion for downtown during your normal business and community interactions
❤️ Share your perspective as a business owner and help us better understand what downtown businesses need
There are no major additional time commitments or special requirements beyond attending board meetings, being an engaged voice, and helping champion a vibrant and thriving downtown.
Interested?
To be considered, you must:
1. Attend a regular CEDA Board meeting to learn more about the organization and how the Board operates.
2. Submit a Board application for consideration.
If you’re a downtown business owner who has ideas, opinions, and a desire to help shape the future of downtown—but haven’t had the time to get involved before—this opportunity may be for you!

WSDOT is planning a series of overnight closures at the I-90/SR 18 interchange and the I-90 WB off-ramp to WB SR 18 and Snoqualmie Parkway July 30, and July 31 - August 2, as final striping work continues:

🛑 𝟗 𝐏𝐌 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑𝟎 - 𝟓 𝐀𝐌 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑𝟏: WB I-90 off-ramp to WB SR 18 and Snoqualmie Parkway
🛑 𝟖 𝐏𝐌 - 𝟔 𝐀𝐌 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟑𝟏- 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐: SR 18 will close overnight under the I-90 bridges near Snoqualmie and North Bend. All right-turning on- and off-ramps at the interchange will remain open during this full closure.
