We lost another classmate. 😭😢
I believe JoEllen Veanes was our class valedictorian at Graduation. I don’t think she was ever unkind to anyone, nor do I know anyone who didn’t like her. Always sweet as pie, to her very dying day, ❣️
She was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer on June 10, 2024, and fought harder than anyone I’ve ever known. She went home to be with Jesus in Heaven on October 3, 2025
Please remember her family in your prayers.
