On this Indigenous People's Day, California Botanic Garden acknowledges that the plants and landscapes we care for have been stewarded by indigenous peoples for millennia. The Garden sits on the ancestral lands of the Gabrieleno/Tongva peoples and we still have much to learn from them and other tribes about caring for, understanding, and supporting our neighbors (plant, animal, and human). We hope that our community will join us in continuing to grow and learn!
