Chilton County 4-H Forestry Club competed today in a county forestry contest. Members competed in Tree ID, tree measurement, compass and pacing, and topographic map reading.
Congratulations to all our members who worked so hard all year!
Thank you to our Forestry Club leaders Mrs. Lucy and Mr. Robbie for all you do forr our forestry club!

Join the Grow More, Give More 250 Pound Challenge!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Alabama Extension is encouraging every county to donate 250 pounds of fresh produce to help fight food insecurity in our communities. Every pound counts!

Plant a little extra this season and donate fresh fruits and vegetables to local families, food banks, churches, and community organizations in need. Great crops include tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, okra, beans, melons, and more!

4-H COLONIAL DAY CAMP

In honor of America 250, Chilton Co. 4-H will host a 4-H Colonial Day Camp to celebrate history & learn about it.
When: June 23rd
Time: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Where: Chilton Co Extension Office, 504 1st Ave. No., Clanton, AL
Cost: $15/ Ages 9-14

🐴🍀Attention Horse Club!! 🍀🐴
😞Due to the weather this weekend and forecast for tomorrow we are going to postpone the final Horse Club meeting until a later date in June! We hate to postpone but want everyone to be able to enjoy the day!!!
Please keep an eye out for the make-up day and keep working on tour artwork, photography or soeech contest entries!!!

📢🍀Attention Chilton County 4-H Horse Club 🍀📢
To close out our club year we will have a special mini camp and fun show day.
There will be 2 sessions offered-one for beginners and one for more experienced members and members who wish to haul in their own horses (with negative coggins).
🐎We will have hands on lessons with ride time, photography, art and speech competitions during each session and some fun competition classes.
📞Please call/text Mrs. Krystal to sign up for your designated time slot.
🍀We encourage you to spend the day and cheer on other members should you choose to do so...just be sure to bring drinks and a sack lunch and plan to be outside. (water and light snacks will be provided)
You must wear closed toe shoes and bring a helmet if you have one.
