We have had numerous people reach out about where to donate gift cards to the Barbee family during this tender time. We have communicated with the school district and administration at Byron P. Steele High School and have come up with 3 ways you can donate gift cards.

Friends, we are beyond heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Russell Barbee, assistant band director at Dobie Junior High. In his years teaching in SCUC, he positively impacted thousands of students as well as being a treasured part of the fine arts department and a wonderful father and husband. Russell’s wife Stacey serves as the Athletic secretary, and is a musician herself. Our prayers are with Stacey and their two boys, the entire Barbee family, and for his students and colleagues. For those of you who have asked how to help, in lieu of meals, gift cards to the following places would be most helpful and supportive at this time:
