Today, we just want to express our sincere appreciation for our ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ญ๐๐ค๐.
Last night, as Band Ball was coming to an end and people were beginning to head home, this moment quietly stood out. ๐๐ก๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฑ๐ก๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ง ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐ญ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ.
At first glance, it may not seem like a big deal. But to the parents who have watched what these directors pour into these students week after week, this moment said everything.
Mostly every single day this past week, they showed up early and stayed late. They prepared for leadership and percussion auditions. They poured themselves into an incredible Spring Concert where so many students were recognized for their achievements. They worked late Thursday and Friday during Spring Band Camp. They came back early Saturday morning for camp and another parent performance. They attended an absolutely spectacular Band Ball celebrating the students they care so deeply about.
Then, after all of that, when they easily could have called it a night, they stayed behind to serve.
Thatโs the kind of leadership our students see every day.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค. ๐๐ญโ๐ฌ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐. They encourage them, challenge them, believe in them, celebrate them, and help shape them into confident young men and women. The impact they are making reaches far beyond music.
The trophies, performances, and accomplishments are wonderful, but what matters most to parents is knowing our kids are being led by people who genuinely care about them. These are not just great band directors. These are the kind of adults every parent hopes their child has in their corner.
As parents, we notice the sacrifices.
We notice the long hours.
We notice the consistency.
And we absolutely notice the love these directors have for our kids.
There are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are for these three and everything they continue to do for our band family. Our students are blessed because of their leadership, and so are we as parents.

While our students work every day to become champions, itโs comforting to know they are already being led by three true champions.
