Today, the young men of Buffalo Soldiers Knights of Pythagoras Council No. 20 had the opportunity to complete an outstanding AI entrepreneurship and technology workshop hosted by Bro. Nick McGinnis, owner of PhazurLabs.

The training, “Prompt to Paycheck,” challenged the youth to think beyond simply using AI — and instead learn how to build businesses, solve problems, create products, and generate income using emerging technology. The workshop introduced the young men to real-world concepts such as AI automation agencies, startup development, product creation, customer outreach, branding, and digital entrepreneurship.

The youth also received practical guidance through the “Get Paid: The Real Customer Playbook,” which focused on discipline, outreach, communication, leadership, consistency, and how to secure their first paying customer using AI-powered tools and strategies.

This was more than a technology session — it was exposure to ownership, innovation, leadership, and the future.

We sincerely thank Bro. Nick McGinnis and PhazurLabs for investing in our youth and helping prepare the next generation of leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs.

The Buffalo Soldiers Knights of Pythagoras Council No. 20 successfully completed an outstanding and impactful weekend at Canyon Lake, bringing together young men, mentors, and leaders for a true experience in growth, discipline, and brotherhood.

The weekend began with physical training and team-building activities, including a competitive flag football session led by Bro. Aaron Carter of Pride of San Marcos Lodge No. 494. The young men were challenged both physically and mentally, setting the tone for the entire weekend.

Following training, PM Curtis “CC” Finley of J. Washington Lodge No. 191 ensured the young men were well taken care of with a great breakfast, reinforcing the importance of preparation and care for the team.

Education remained a key focus throughout the weekend. Bro. Elijah Jorge delivered an engaging presentation on Prince Hall Masonry and the Knights of Pythagoras, connecting the young men to the history, purpose, and path of growth within the Craft. In addition, Bro. Matthew James (J. Washington Lodge No. 191) and Bro. Cameron Harrell (Pride of San Marcos Lodge No. 494) provided hands-on CPR training, equipping the young men with critical life-saving skills.

The experience continued with outdoor activities, including fishing on Canyon Lake, where several of the young men showcased their skills and secured catches of their own. PM Finley oversaw the activity, ensuring safety remained the top priority at all times.

Throughout the weekend, the young men participated in leadership discussions, mentorship, and structured activities designed to build confidence, discipline, and accountability. Bro. Remario Barley of Pride of San Marcos Lodge No. 494 was also in attendance, providing mentorship and support to the youth knights throughout the weekend.

This was more than a camping trip—it was a leadership experience.

A sincere thank you to all the Brothers and supporters who contributed their time, resources, and mentorship to make this weekend a success. Your investment in these young men will have a lasting impact far beyond this event.
