A major step forward for clean transportation in South County.

The Port of San Diego has certified the Environmental Impact Report and authorized a Coastal Development Permit for the proposed Skycharger Electric Truck Hub in National City.

The project is planned as a 24/7 zero-emissions charging facility for heavy-duty trucks, helping support cleaner air, the transition to electric freight transportation, and the future of goods movement around San Diego Bay.

This investment represents important progress toward a cleaner, more sustainable transportation network while supporting the economic activity that keeps our region moving.
