MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: Preschool Ministry!

What's happening in Preschool Ministry? How can you get involved? Meet the amazing team that serves our littlest learners each week!

Our Preschool Ministry is led by Julie, who has been serving in Preschool Ministry at The Crossing for 15 years, and Amber, our Preschool Ministry Assistant and Childcare Coordinator, who has 17 years of preschool ministry experience and has been serving at The Crossing for the past year.

Together with an incredible team of volunteers, their heart is to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where parents can confidently leave their babies, toddlers, and preschoolers while they attend church. We love partnering with families as we introduce our youngest members to the love of Jesus!

Each Sunday, children ages 2 and up enjoy free play, worship, an engaging Bible lesson, a fun coloring activity, and a snack- all designed to help them learn about God's love in an age-appropriate way.

🎉 Looking for something to do during the week? Join us for Preschool Playgroup every Tuesday from 9:00–11:00 AM in the gym! It's a wonderful opportunity for children ages 5 and under to play, make friends, and burn off some energy while parents connect with one another.

We're currently looking for volunteers to serve in several areas, including:
- Bible Teachers for our 3–5-year-old classroom
- Adult volunteers for our 3–5-year-old classroom
- Adult volunteers for our Baby & Toddler classroom

We also have opportunities to serve through our Childcare Ministry, which provides affordable childcare during Bible studies and small groups throughout the week. We're always looking for adults and teens who would like to earn a little extra money while serving families in our church.

Hey from the Creative Ministry here at The Crossing!
We're so excited to give you a sneak peek into our little corner of ministry! The Creative Ministry is a behind-the-scenes team that uses creativity to point people to Jesus and communicate the Gospel in meaningful, engaging, and beautiful ways.
Some of the ways we serve include:

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: Tech & Creative Arts!

What's happening behind the scenes every Sunday? Meet Leonard and Leighanna, the team behind our Tech & Creative Arts Ministry at The Crossing!

Our ministry exists to support not only our Sunday services but also the many events held throughout the year. While we may not always be seen, our goal is to help create a distraction-free environment where people can focus on encountering Jesus through worship and the Word. As we like to say... if you don't notice us, we're doing our job right!

There are so many ways to serve on the Tech Team, including:
🎚️ Sound
🖥️ Slides
💡 Lighting
📹 Broadcast
🎬 Video Production
…and so much more!

We couldn't do what we do without our incredible volunteers, and we'd love to have you join the team! Whether you're a student or an adult, if you're interested in technology, creativity, production, or simply serving behind the scenes, there's a place for you.

No experience? No problem! We'll train and equip you every step of the way. Prior experience is always a bonus, but it's definitely not required.

If you love wearing black, enjoy learning new skills, or like pushing buttons you're 80% sure you know what they do... this might just be the ministry for you!

We’re looking for adults and teens to help with childcare during the week starting this fall! We’re hoping to find people who are available to serve regularly each week.

📅 Weekly Opportunities:
• Monday: 5:45–8:15 p.m.
• Tuesday: 5:45–8:15 p.m.
• Wednesday: 9:00–11:30 a.m. - AK Mom Life (2nd Wednesday of each month)
• Wednesday: 5:45–8:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 9:00–11:30 a.m.

This is a paid position!

Those interested will need to complete a childcare packet, and adults will be required to complete a background check.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: Men's Ministry!

What's happening in Men's Ministry? How can you get connected? Here's a look at how God is building strong, Christ-centered men at The Crossing!

The Men's Ministry exists to encourage spiritual growth, build authentic accountability, and equip men to lead their families and communities on a Christ-centered path. We believe no man is meant to walk alone, and we're committed to strengthening one another through God's Word, fellowship, and shared experiences.

Each month, men gather for our Men's Breakfast on the 3rd Saturday of the month- a time of great food, meaningful fellowship, and encouragement in our faith. Throughout the year, we also connect through a variety of Alaskan adventures and events, including four-wheeling, snowmachining, camping, retreats, shooting competitions, wild game dinners, service projects, sports nights, golfing, Bible studies, and much more!

Our desire is to help men become the leaders God has called them to be- standing firm in their faith, loving their families well, serving others sacrificially, and investing in the next generation of godly men. Together, we encourage one another to live boldly for Christ and faithfully lead wherever God has placed us.

Whether you're new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, there's a place for you in Men's Ministry. Come build lasting friendships, grow in God's Word, and be challenged to become the man God designed you to be.
