In Vayelech, we stand at the edge of destiny. Moshe, the faithful servant of Yahuah, speaks his final words to Yashar’el, a people about to cross the Jordan into their inheritance. Though he will not go with them, Moshe assures them that Yahuah Himself will go before them as a consuming fire to drive out their enemies. With the weight of generations pressing on his shoulders, Moshe calls them to courage, to strength, and to unwavering trust in Yahuah’s promises. His charge is clear: be strong and of good courage, for Yahuah will never leave nor forsake His people.

Yet Vayelech is more than farewell—it is a covenant renewed and a warning etched into eternity. Moshe commands the reading of the Torah every seven years so that all, from the greatest to the least, might hear, learn, and fear Yahuah. He teaches them a prophetic song that will witness against them should they turn aside, reminding them that blessing comes through obedience and destruction through rebellion. As Moshe prepares to pass the mantle to Joshua, we are reminded that leaders may change, but the Word and presence of Yahuah endures forever. Vayelech calls us today to stand firm, to guard His commandments, and to walk boldly into the promises secured by His unshakable covenant.

Do you truly know Yahuah—or do you only know what someone else has told you about Him?

Many people can repeat what their pastor, denomination, or family believes, yet struggle to explain those beliefs from Scripture. They may know the language of faith without developing a personal life of prayer, study, repentance, discernment, and obedience. Borrowed faith may survive while life is comfortable, but it cannot sustain us through the wilderness.

In this powerful Morning Manna, we examine the difference between man-made religion and a living covenant relationship with Yahuah. Deuteronomy 6 teaches that His commandments must first be within our hearts and then be diligently passed down to our children throughout everyday life. We were never instructed to teach the next generation to blindly repeat whatever a religious leader says—we are to teach them how to seek Yahuah and walk in His ways.

This message is not against pastors, teachers, fellowship, or assembling together. Biblical teachers are a gift to the body—but they should lead us toward spiritual maturity, not lifelong dependence upon their personalities. Yahusha alone is our mediator, and Scripture remains the standard by which every teaching must be examined.

Your pastor’s prayers cannot replace your prayer life. Your parents’ obedience cannot become your obedience. Your congregation’s relationship with Yahuah cannot substitute for your own.

Religion may teach us how to appear faithful before people. Relationship teaches us how to walk faithfully before Yahuah—even when no one else is watching.

📖 Devariym (Deuteronomy) 26:1–19

Welcome to Fiery Fellowship as we explore Ki Tavo—“When You Come In”, found in Devariym (Deuteronomy) 26:1–29:9. This powerful Torah portion begins with Yashar’el entering the promised land and bringing their first fruits before Yahuah. They were commanded to remember their deliverance, give Yahuah their first and best, care for the Levite, stranger, fatherless, and widow, and guard His commandments with all their heart and soul.

We will examine the covenant declarations that identified Yashar’el as Yahuah’s peculiar treasure, the Torah written plainly upon the stones, and the altar raised on Mount Ebal—the mountain associated with the curse. Before the curses were pronounced, sacrifice, peace, and rejoicing were already visible. This presents a powerful connection to Yahusha, the sinless Son who willingly bore the curse incurred through transgression and rose as the First fruits of those who slept.

Ki Tavo places the blessings of obedience beside the devastating consequences of rebellion. Yahuah promised that blessings would overtake those who diligently hearkened to His voice, but He also warned that continued disobedience would reverse freedom and carry His people back toward bo***ge. This portion asks every generation a searching question: Have we merely entered Yahuah’s promises—or has His covenant truly entered our hearts?

🌻Boker Tov and blessings on this day before Prep Day! HalleluYah—Shabbat is coming!🌿

It’s a beautiful pre-fall day here in Middle Tennessee. The mornings are getting cooler, and the crows are calling as if to remind us that fall is on its way. The birds are busy at the feeders, the light is beginning to change, and all of creation seems to be preparing for a new season. I love every season, but fall has always been especially beautiful to me. The changing colors and cooler temperatures are such a welcome relief after the heat of summer.

This week’s Torah portion, Ki Tavo—“When You Come In,” reminds us how to walk faithfully through seasons of change. No matter what changes around us, the Word of Yahuah remains our sure foundation.

“This day Yahuah Elohayka has commanded you to do these commandments and these judgments: you shall therefore guard and do them with all your heart, and with all your soul.”
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 26:16

Each day, we are called to guard and do the commandments of Yahuah—not merely with our words, but with all our heart and all our soul. Whether we are coming in or going out, entering a new season or leaving an old one behind, obedience keeps our feet walking in His ways.

So today, set down the burdens you were never meant to carry and pick up the shalom of Yahuah. Walk in His will, trust His way, guard His Word, and step into this day knowing that the One who directs your path does not change with the seasons.

The shofar is not a quiet sound—it is an alarm that demands a response. It awakens the sleeping, warns of approaching danger, gathers the scattered, and calls the prodigal heart home. As we prepare to observe Yom Teru’ah—the Feast of Trumpets—from sunset September 11 through sunset September 12, we must ask ourselves: Are we spiritually awake, or have we grown comfortable while the hour grows late?
