On Thursday October 15th Tim Bergevin represented Lake Wissota Trail Blazers and Smokey Prueher represented the Alan Prueher memorial at the test night for the snowmobile and ATV Classes at Anson Townhall. The two organizations talked the importance of joining clubs, helping with the trails and riding safely. After the discussion they announced that the organizations were returning the students fees for the class and also providing gift cards from Nexgen powersports and Airtec sports for all students passing their tests. The Chippewa county sheriffs deputies that taught the course did a great job teaching! All students passed both tests! Thank you Chippewa county deputies for taking the time to teach these classes!

I have had some inquiries about our annual snowmobile races that we had held for several years.
So I thought I should probably let everyone know that in the spring of 2025 the Edge Pub & eatery was sold and is now named 1917 Lake Wissota. The new owners have invested a lot in to the business including brand new floating docks that stay in all year long. With that said the docks take up all the spectator, pit area and also the first few hundred feet of the race track area. With that said we are no longer able to host the races at 1917 Lake Wissota.
So our club had a lot of discussion about moving or discontinuing the races and ultimately voted to discontinue the races rather than try to find a new location.
We Thank all the racers and spectators and volunteers that helped pull the races off when the ice was safe.
I also want to Throw out a special thank you to Al Grube the former owner of The Edge Pub for doing all the track prep work and donating the plaques and paying the spectator insurance every year. Without him we would not have had the success we had!
