The Dunham Baseball Organization is a community-based, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that promotes baseball instruction, competition, and sportsmanship for 250 children ages 4 to 18 years old. The DBBO tradition dates back to 1968 and is based at the Chicago Park District Dunham Park. The organization relies 100% on its parent volunteers to coach and to operate the league. The baseball sea
son runs from April to July. Dunham Baseball Organization is a chartered member of Little League International. The boys of summer get ready for three months of baseball. We start around April 1st with a team organizational meeting and practices. Games begin around May 1st and continue through end of June. Each team, Rookie level and above, plays 16 games over 2 months, typically one game during the week and one each Saturday. T-ball plays games only on Saturdays. There are generally no games held over Memorial Day or Fourth of July weekends. May 1st is the cutoff for determining age for each division.
