The Robert McCormick Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center is an answer to the cries of a community that has endured far too much loss, violence, poverty, and hopelessness.

It is a place where young people will discover purpose, families will find support, entrepreneurs will build businesses, and dreams will become realities. It is a safe place our community deserves—a place of leadership, opportunity, healing, and destiny.

What began as a vision in the heart of Pastor Corey Brooks has become a movement powered by faith, sacrifice, and the belief that every person deserves the chance to thrive.

Now we’re asking you to walk alongside us as we bring this vision to completion. Every step, every share, every donation, and every voice of support helps build a future where hope rises higher than hardship.

The Military Fair at Project H.O.O.D. is more than a recruiting event. It’s an opportunity to explore careers, leadership training, education benefits, scholarships, travel opportunities, job skills, and pathways to a brighter future.

Exploring New Opportunities in the Trades!
Our Project H.O.O.D Construction Cohort recently had the opportunity to tour IBEW Local 130 and gain firsthand insight into the electrical industry.

Students learned about the application process, career pathways, and the skills needed to succeed in the field. They also had the chance to interact with current students, ask questions, and hear about their experiences.
The visit sparked excitement and motivation as our cohort members explored their next steps toward rewarding careers in the skilled trades.

A special thank you to IBEW Local 130 for the informative tour, warm welcome, and continued partnership. Opportunities like these help connect our students to real career pathways and a brighter future.
