Progress pics of 4 sliding closet doors made from stunning, gleaming wood ‘scraps.’ These ‘scraps’ are the remnants of our Chicagoland old growth forests, and they have been rescued from landfill. These closet doors allow us to admire and respect our forests for years to come!

We recently installed the stunning mourning altar at the Chicago Torture Justice Center. The big reveal was really special, especially since the install happened just after the historic Chicago Torture Justice Memorial ground breaking. The altar creates a space to grieve and remember while being surrounded by color, strength, and beauty. The design and creation process was led by survivors and stewarded by Project Fielding leaders and many many others contributed along the way—it took 5+ years and was well worth the process. Stay tuned for more elements in the next year.
