The weekend of August 22 and 23, we welcome our distinguished preacher, Fr Brendan Lupton, to St. Thomas. Fr. Lupton is an associate professor of Dogmatic Theology at Mundelein Seminary and the chair of the Pontifical Faculty of the University.

Several parishioners have enquired about having Mass for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15. While normally a holy day of obligation, this year the obligation is removed due to the solemnity falling on a Saturday.

However, for the good of the people of God, we will have Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 9AM in the Church.

Today, we celebrate the feast day of our parish, St. Thomas the Apostle! We pray for his intercession for our school and parish that we may continue to seek our Lord in all things!

A few days ago, Venezuela experienced a massive earthquake, which caused loss of life. We join our prayers for all those affected and for those who have lost their lives due to this natural disaster.
