Artificial intelligence is changing the practice of law. Join the Cook County Bar Association on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. for The AI Advantage: Efficiency, Ethics, and Evolution in Practice, a practical CLE focused on using AI effectively while protecting your clients and your license.

Presenters Hon. Ashley Greer Shambley of the Circuit Court of Cook County and Shay T. Allen, Founder and Lead Counsel at S.T. Allen Law, P.C., will discuss how to:

● Write prompts that produce more useful legal work product;
● Streamline tasks such as document review, deposition summaries, and legal research; and
● Verify AI output, safeguard confidential information, and address ethical obligations.

The Cook County Bar Association proudly congratulates the Hon. Timothy C. Evans on his appointment to the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. Justice Evans has dedicated decades to public service and the administration of justice, and we are tremendously proud to celebrate this well-deserved next chapter in his distinguished career.

We also congratulate our members the Hon. Stephanie S. Kelly, Hon. Ashonta C. Rice, Hon. Ashley Greer Shambley, Hon. Ava George Stewart, and Hon. Radiance Ward on their appointments to the Circuit Court of Cook County, along with all of the other distinguished appointees.

We are proud to see our members answering the call to serve, strengthening our courts, and making a meaningful difference in our community.
