Casco Bay Wind Symphony Celebrating 45 years! The Casco Bay Wind Symphony (CBWS), a community wind band made up of about 80 adult musicians from 19 to 93. www.cascobaywindsymphony.org

To that end, Casco Bay Concert Band is committed to providing high quality, low cost musical experiences for audiences of Greater Portland, and role models and leadership for the music programs in the K-12 public schools in southern Maine. CBCB, incorporated in 1986, has an active executive board of se

ven members. CBCB does not require auditions for membership. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at Gorham High School, beginning the Monday after Labor Day and running through the third of July.

1. Members meet who wrote “Blue Marble” that we performed last spring. We have performed many other pieces and always love having her works on our programs

2. Members meeting .composer who wrote “Dee Traum des Oenghus” that was on our October concert.

3. & 4. our resident member/composer who won the competition with her score of “Unwavering”

5. with Col. Jason K. Fetting who directed “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band.

6. Our favorite music guy with some of our members. He is always coming to our rescue and getting the music we need. Thank you Jeff!

It has been confirmed that our first ever Southern New England BandFest will be held at Durfee High School in Fall River, MA, on Sunday April 12th!! Durfee High is a fairly new facility and will make for a great musical experience for our ensembles and guests! Join us for an amazing day of music!!
