If you haven't thought about the possibility of hosting an exchange student, this is YOUR year!
We are coming to a time when students are getting nervous about having a host family for the fall semester or the coming academic year. They need YOU to make their dream come true! It's a commitment to provide an experience to a child, but also...even when there are struggles, it is an incredibly rewarding time for you and your family. My students from last year are now home with their families, but we are already missing them. We miss the laughs, the music, the adventures and discoveries, just not so much the laundry ;-)
If you want to know more, just ask. You don't have to be a traditional family, you don't need to have kids, you don't need to be married and you certainly don't need to be 'young'! Some of the best host families are seniors and empty nesters! They have time and experience and can create wonderful adventures for the students.
