As winter approaches, many people and families are in need of a warm coat to keep them cozy and comfortable. That’s why we are partnering with Accountability Partners Wellness Center & One Warm Coat to bring our first Winter Coat Drive!

Our aim is to donate 50 coats and 20 warm care packages! On the first Distribution Day, we will give out coats and packages to Home Sweet Home Ministries and Primo Center for Women & Children. The second Distribution Day will be a coat pick-up for the community. We will announce the time and location on our pages, so please stay tuned!

We would be thrilled if you could drop off any new or gently used coats and winter essentials at our designated drop-off locations during their available hours. Alternatively, you can purchase coats and winter essentials from our Amazon Coat Drive List! All purchases from the Amazon Coat Drive List will be shipped directly to us for donation. Our planet is facing serious environmental issues that require urgent attention. Did you know that around 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year? That's equivalent to dumping a garbage truck full of plastic into the ocean every minute. Additionally, air pollution is responsible for more than 6 million deaths globally each year, according to the World Health Organization. These facts highlight the urgent need for individuals and businesses to take action towards reducing their environmental impact.

At Sunshine Care Kits, we recognize the importance of taking responsibility for our impact on the environment. That's why we're making a Green Promise to our home by using biodegradable packaging and recycled materials that are cruelty and toxin-free. We also prioritize responsible waste management for events and utilize renewable power sources. We believe that every small step counts in the fight against climate change!

Indigenous peoples day is a truly special occasion that recognizes and celebrates the rich and diverse heritage of the Indigenous people of North America. As we come together to honor their contributions and resilience, we can also take a moment to reflect on the ongoing struggles they face. Despite centuries of oppression and marginalization, these communities continue to preserve and fight for justice and equality.
