National FFA Week is the perfect time to highlight the leaders who shape our chapter, and today, we’re introducing Mr. Dillon Ponder, the Cheyenne FFA Advisor!

Originally from Bristow, OK, Mr. Ponder was an active and accomplished FFA member. He served as Bristow FFA Chapter President for two years, earned his State FFA Degree, and placed in state-level speech contests, showcasing his exceptional leadership and communication skills. His FFA journey also included showing pigs, cattle grading, livestock judging, and attending leadership conferences and FFA Alumni Camp every year possible—where he even met his wife in 2015!

Now, as an educator, he is passionate about providing Cheyenne students with opportunities for growth, leadership, and hands-on learning. He’s eager to share his extensive knowledge in animal science, welding, and fabrication, equipping students with practical skills that are essential for careers in agriculture.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Ponder stays active in the industry, running his own cattle operation and a cattle AI business. His commitment to agriculture and student success makes him an invaluable part of our chapter!

If you ask him to describe himself in three words, he’d say: hardworking, dependable, and witty.
