It’s graduation time! In honor of the 2026 graduates, let’s take a look back at some classes that will be celebrating milestone years in 2026!
As usual, I’m missing an annual and this time it’s 1996. Not all classes have cap/gown photos, so I did the best I could. Enjoy this trip down memory lane.

Coming at you with some more school history, not from a yearbook but rather our local paper The Cheyenne Star! If you don’t already receive a copy of The Cheyenne Star every week, please refer to the second photo and start yourself a subscription today. It has all the local happenings, including Hammon, Reydon, Leedey, and sometimes Sweetwater, school activities.

Sharing some photos courtesy of Jim Davis and Tom Webb. The basketball game is the 1968 State game (we’re in white) and I’m unsure if the other is anything in particular or just a snapshot of school life. How many people do you know?

It’s time for another deep dive into Cheyenne history, by way of the annual ads! Now, I understand that not every business bought annual ads, but most of the time, they did. The number of cafes and restaurants that were in this town through the years, blows me away and I don’t think these are all of them. These photos are from ‘64 through ‘89, with a handful of ‘90s. I know Hill’s Restaurant has changed hands 5 or 6 times, probably. Right now, it’s Nana’s, owned by Lucy Moler Banks (if I’m confused on that, let me know). Y’all put the location for these under the photos, please. Some I know, but a lot I don’t. Enjoy the memories and please share them!

I would like to thank Cindy Malson (CHS class of 1989) for posting these wonderful Cheyenne High School memories on our page.

She truly exemplifies the dedication and school spirit our alumni needs to grow and thrive.

We will be sending updates on upcoming events like Draggin Main 2026, and 2027 Old Settlers and Alumni Reunion.

Please email any address changes or questions to [email protected].

And again - Thank You Cindy.

Go Bears!

Ahhhh…prom time. The time when the junior class throws a farewell party, if you will, for the senior class. The time when you vote on the sophomores you’d most like to see be the entertainment and the servers of the meal. It was always an honor to be picked and if the upper classmen really LIKED you, you got to do the most goofy entertainment and wear the funnest costumes! Here are some snippets of past CHS proms. If you know your people, see if you can spot these people: Annie Moler Coffin/Jaci Coffin; Sara Montgomery Allen/Tenley Allen; Renee Payne Bagzis/Kyle Bagzis; Ray Haven/Sarah Haven; Misty Denny Springer/Cassie Springer; Calvin Kirk/Caleb Kirk; Juawan Moore/Zander Moore; Lisa Thomas Montgomery/Brittani Montgomery; Tracy Roark Smith/Tawni Smith.

I’m going to show some love for the little noticed decades of the 1990s and 2000s, such that I can. I’m missing some annuals and they stopped doing The Favorites around 2007, for several years anyway. *MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED*
