Summer may be winding down, but the excitement is just beginning — our new dance season is almost here! 🕺

Get ready, because the 2026–2027 season is packed with fresh choreography, inspiring instructors, and electrifying big band music that will keep your feet moving and your spirits high. 💃

We’re delighted to share that the Season Gold Pass Dance Pass will stay at last year’s price, made possible through the generous support of Little America Hotel and Resort, who are offering a reduced room rate and meal discounts for our dancers this season.

Join us as we launch our 81st season, celebrating tradition, community, and the timeless joy of big band dancing.

The Colorado Swing Band will be performing at American Legion Post 6, located at 2001 Lincolnway, Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Friday, June 26, 2026.

This is a free social dance event open to everyone as we celebrate 204 combined trips around the sun with Donna Padilla, Sheryl VanPelt, and Robin Mathews. Festivities will include cake, ice cream, coffee, water, and a cash bar. Guests are welcome to bring finger foods to share.

Optional Dress Code: Black & White

DJ Skip Arnold: Begins at 4:00 PM with a pre‑dance warm‑up

Colorado Swing Band: Begins at 5:00 PM with a mix of 1940s standards and Latin music

What an amazing dance season we have shared — and what an extraordinary way to conclude it last night. With more than 75 dancers and supporters in attendance, the room was filled with energy, joy, and genuine community. The support we felt was truly heart‑warming.

Our silent‑auction fundraiser was met with such enthusiasm and generosity that it left many of us humbled. Your contributions directly fuel the work of our incoming officers and strengthen our mission for every dancer and supporter in the CDC family.

We were especially moved by the kindness of our gift sponsors. A few tears were shed as we acknowledged their support — a reminder of how deeply this community cares.

The night became even more memorable as dancers filled the floor with every song, sharing laughter, fellowship, and the spirit that makes this organization so special. The election of officers closed the evening with excitement and inspiration for the season ahead.

On behalf of all CDC Officers, thank you for your unwavering support, your trust, and your belief in what we strive to build together. This community is truly something remarkable.
