After nearly two decades of leading the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Dale Steenbergen is heading to Wichita, Kansas, to become the next President & CEO of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Dale has been one of Wyoming’s strongest voices for business. He helped position Cheyenne and F.E. Warren Air Force Base for the Sentinel modernization program, led our Chamber to Five-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and has been a tireless advocate for our airmen and military families.

“Cheyenne has been home for nearly 20 years, and the relationships we’ve built here mean a great deal to me,” Dale said. “While I’ll miss Cheyenne, I leave knowing the Chamber is in excellent hands.”

Our Board of Directors will name an interim President & CEO and begin a national search. In the meantime, our team is here and the work for our members continues.

This weekend at the Wyoming Latina Youth Center Conference, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce was honored with an award in appreciation of our partnership and support.

The Center helps young Latinas across Wyoming build leadership skills, find mentors, and see a path to college and careers. Those are the future business owners, employees, and community leaders of Cheyenne, and we're proud to stand alongside them.

Thank you for this recognition, and for the work you do every day. We're grateful to be part of it.
