The mission of the Parent Engagement Group is to build southside schools parent involvement through parent lead, school admin supported activities. And to market South schools to the community and district for the exceptional programs offered. We are dedicated parent volunteers that are passionate about South schools while building a culture of success. It was formed as means to increase parent in

After more than 10 years of championing the southside and promoting all the positive things happening at our schools, this mom is graduating the last of my kids.

UPDATE: The district is allowing her to participate with her classmates.

Did you know that the school district isn't allowing a student athlete from South to participate in graduation? Academics split bw homeschool and school offered honors & AP classes, WYTOPP testing, etc she has all the graduation credits. Not asking for a diploma just to walk with her friends. Since it is a nice day early in the primary election season, I want to share this one again.

Reminder. Any LCSD1 Board candidate who campaigns as a conservative OR liberal OR Republican OR Democrat is wholly unfit for the nonpartisan position of LCSD1 Board of Trustees.

Those candidates are pledging fidelity to party over our children's educational needs.

Our children, our teachers, and our district deserve candidates who place the educational needs of our children and district above any party politics or ideology. From LCSD1 Board Watch
