Wyoming State Fair was a blast!
We had members exhibit in every species, and a great week of showing, eating too many cupcakes, and making stronger connections. As an advisor, it was awesome to see students spending time in the barns and working hard with their projects, knowing they could’ve chose to spend one of their last weeks of summer elsewhere. I’m proud of each of these students, what a great week!

High Plains had a GREAT 2026 Laramie County Fair! Numerous members exhibited various species including horses, poultry, goats, sheep, swine, and beef. We even had 5 FFA members qualify for the Kiwanis FFA Sale of Champions!

I’m so proud of all the hard work these members put into their projects, it was very evident by the success they found at fair. Till next year!

High Plains members have had a busy past two days of giving back to the community during Cheyenne Frontier Days!

On Wednesday and Thursday, members helped out at the challenge rodeo. An event put on by CFD Volunteer and Burns Ag Teacher, Mr.Luna, that allows students with special needs to experience the thrill of rodeo. The officer team had a great time cheering kids on and supporting them in events.

Then Thursday evening, three of our officers were honored to attend the Ag Women Connect 250th Celebration at the Governors Residence. They led the pledge, and met many important figures and agriculture advocates - including the current United States Secretary of Interior. We had a great time meeting new people and making connections, including a past national FFA officer!

I’m very proud of how well these students represent themselves, Central, and the High Plains FFA, it’s been a great past few days!

Today our chapter officer team met for their officer retreat!
The team got to know each other better, have fun, and start planning for early year community service and activities. The day was filled with ice cream, Miss Turner battling printers, and lots of great ideas! We missed having Kayleigh join us, but look forward to the great impact this team will have!

Hello everyone! I am so excited to introduce myself as the new Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor for Cheyenne High Plains FFA. As a proud graduate of this program, it is an absolute honor to return home and teach the next generation of students.

This page will continue serving as an official source for chapter news, upcoming events, student achievements, contest results, classroom activities, and opportunities our members have throughout the year. I hope you’ll follow along to celebrate everything our chapter will accomplish!

Last Friday our officers and officers from the other chapters from Cheyenne got together to put on the leadership and legacy gala. This event not only helps fundraising for ffa but is a great opportunity for all of Cheyenne ffa members to work together. Three of our officers even got to do opening ceremonies with other Cheyenne officers!!

A little while back we as a chapter took a trip down to the national western stock show. Let’s just say it was a blast!
