📣 WE’RE HIRING | Administrative Coordinator

Making A Change Group is looking for an organized, dependable, and mission-driven Administrative Coordinator to help keep our organization running smoothly.

This is much more than an administrative position. You’ll serve as the operational backbone of our team by supporting executive leadership, coordinating office operations, managing schedules and meetings, assisting with communications and marketing, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping strengthen the systems that keep our programs operating efficiently.

Position Highlights:
✅ Full-Time (40 hours/week)
💲 $50,000 annually

📍 Reports to the Director of Operations

We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused nonprofit environment.

Dear Parents, Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the weather, and because of the potential for thunderstorms later in the day, the entire Fusion Fridays event has been moved up.

Fusion Fridays will now kick off at 2:00 PM.

Making a Change Group will still be there for our Youth & Parent Meet and Greet from 4:00–6:00 PM. We decided to shorten our portion of the event so everyone can still come out, connect, and hopefully beat the weather.

A big shout out to CMP Radio Foundation and all of their sponsors for inviting us to collaborate on Fusion Fridays. We appreciate the partnership and everything they’re doing to bring positive community events to Chester.

We’re also going to run it back for Part 2 on Friday, August 7th!

Hope to see you tomorrow. Come by, say what’s up and let’s chat for a bit.

Today, we were proud to partner with Mayor Stefan Roots and the City of Chester to launch the new Mayor’s Safe Summer Series, bringing resources, activities, and community engagement directly into neighborhoods across our city.

We were also excited to introduce our Peace Ambassadors, eight young adults, ages 18–24, who are serving as paid summer interns with Making a Change Group. Throughout the next eight weeks, they’ll gain hands-on experience in community engagement, leadership, outreach, and service while working alongside local partners to help make a positive impact across Chester.

In addition to supporting the Mayor’s Safe Summer Series, our Peace Ambassadors have also began assisting at the Chester Housing Authority’s
free community dinners by helping serve families, lead activities, and connect with residents.

This is just the beginning. We’re looking forward to a summer of building relationships, supporting our neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for young adults to lead through service.

☀️ Summer is officially underway at Making a Change Group!

Our campus is full of energy, our youth are engaged, and our team is back in the community doing what we love most, creating safe spaces, building relationships, and investing in the next generation.

From Team MAC Summer Camp, to ROAR’s career explorers camp and community outings, and our Peace Ambassadors will be connecting with young leaders, it’s been an exciting start to what promises to be an impactful summer.

This is just the beginning. Throughout the summer, we’ll be sharing stories, celebrating our youth, and highlighting the work happening every day across our programs.

Don’t forget to join us this Friday, July 10, from 4:00–8:00 PM at Chester Park for Fusion Fridays! Stop by our Making a Change Group Youth & Parent Meet and Greet, connect with our team, enjoy great music with DJ Naji B, and spend the evening with families, community partners, and neighbors from across Chester.

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, uncles, and father figures who continue to show up and make a difference.

Thank you for the sacrifices, the guidance, the tough conversations, the encouragement, and the love. Whether you’re raising your own children or helping guide someone else’s, your impact matters more than you know.

Strong families build strong communities, and strong men help make both possible.
