Last weekend’s 13th Annual Iron Chef-Style Cooking Competition: Wing Wars brought plenty of heat, creativity, friendly competition, and incredible community support to Long Lot Farm Brewery!

We’re taking you behind the scenes of all three competitions, highlighting the sauces and wings created by each of our five teams, sharing the final scores, and celebrating this year’s champions... the 105th Airlift Wing from Stewart!

From Dr. Pepper and Korean BBQ to German-inspired wings and the winning Smoked Nashville Hot, there was no shortage of creativity this year!

And once again, THANK YOU to our teams, vendors, musicians, volunteers, judges, and everyone who joined us for another incredible year.

Clear Path for Veterans works to build deep, lasting connections with military members, veterans, and their families, creating a community where individuals can find support, strengthen relationships, and discover a hopeful path forward.

What makes their mission especially meaningful is that many of the people behind Clear Path are veterans themselves. They understand the realities and challenges that can come with life after military service because they’ve experienced that transition firsthand. Their programs are designed to provide opportunities for healing, connection, purpose, and continued growth.

Clear Path also works to help bridge the gap between the military and civilian communities. By creating a welcoming environment built on shared understanding, mutual respect, service, and support, veterans and community members can connect, work together, and learn from one another.

We’re honored to welcome Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. to this year’s Towns 4 Troops Wing Wars!

For more than 80 years, Blue Star Mothers has brought together mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, and female legal guardians of those who are currently serving or have served in our military. With thousands of members across the country, their mission is centered around supporting military service members, veterans, military families, and the families of our Fallen Heroes.

Their members understand firsthand the pride, sacrifices, challenges, and emotions that come with having a loved one serve. Through that shared experience, they provide friendship and support to one another while giving back to the greater military community.

From sending care packages to deployed service members and volunteering with veterans to honoring Fallen Heroes and supporting Gold Star Families, Blue Star Mothers continues to make an impact through service, compassion, and community. ❤️🤍💙
