Well, today I said "Good-Bye" to Lewis County, WA. The house Koontz has been sold and I am in my RV headed to Willamette Mission State Park a bit northof Salem, OR where I will serve my first assignment as Park Host for the Oregon State Park system. Though I am sad to leave the good friends I have made in Lewis County, I am excited to start this new phase of my life at the age of 75! Of course, I will find excuses to come back to visit. And if you are planning a visit to any of the Oregon State Parks to camp, fish, hike, or just hang out, let me know. Hopefully we can meet up!

Can you believe that our first concert of the 2024 series is NEXT WEEK?! Whoa! Where has summer gone??? We'll see you Friday, July 19, at Recreation Park in Chehalis for Kalimba: The Spirit of Earth, Wind & Fire! Chehalis Rotary Club & Twin Cities Rotary Club will be there serving up hot dogs and burgers for concessions just outside the Virgil R. Lee building and Mr. & Mrs. Wonderful's Fair Foods will be there serving up kettle corn, lemonade, and more, too! ☀️🎸🎶
