Check out our “What’s Fresh in August” guide! This is the season when local farms showcase the incredible variety our region has to offer, and there’s no better time to fill your kitchen with fresh, seasonal foods. Our vendors have been putting in countless hours behind the scenes so they can bring the very best to market. If you are simply enjoying a summer afternoon downtown, or picking up ingredients for dinner or picking out a handmade gift, we invite you to spend part of your Tuesday with us.

There’s fun for the whole family! Our Kids Club gives children of all ages a fun activity to participate in and earn market tokens to spend on fresh vegetables and fruits. It’s a hands on way to encourage healthy eating while creating fun summer memories. Also, make sure to enjoy live music from our talented local musicians.

We thank you for supporting local farms, small businesses, and the incredibly talented people who pour their hearts into what they grow, bake, and create.

Early Closure @ 2PM - Due to continued unhealthy air quality conditions and high temperatures, the Chehalis Farmers Market will close early at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4th.

We’ll still be open at 10AM! Our vendors have been working hard to prepare for a market. Farmers harvest right up until the morning of the market and our bakers work until the early AM hours to bring you the freshest baked goods. Come out early to beat the heat and show your support. At this time, we expect to remain open but will continue monitoring conditions throughout our operating hours and reserve the discretion to end the market sooner if air quality presents a significant health risk. Please keep a lookout for additional announcements.

The health and safety of our vendors and customers is our highest priority. If you are part of a sensitive group, we encourage you to consider staying home or limiting your time outdoors. While we love seeing everyone at the market, please take precautions, stay hydrated and listen to your body.

July highlights are here! We’ve experienced some of our busiest and most successful markets of the season, and it’s all because of this amazing community that continues to show up every Tuesday to support us. Week after week we’ve heard farmers say they’re harvesting more because they keep selling out too early. Bakers are mixing bigger batches and setting their alarms even earlier. Makers are squeezing in just a few more projects before Tuesday because you all keep proving that handmade and homegrown are worth supporting.

If you wander through the market towards the very end and see that one lonely zucchini, one loaf of bread, a single cookie in the jar, or that last bouquet standing, that’s actually something to celebrate. It usually means that the vendor had a fantastic day. Those last few items are the victory lap. There’s something oddly satisfying about buying the last item on the table. You get to be the grand finale of someone’s successful market day. Nothing beats packing up an empty table. Every empty crate taken home represents the pay off after putting in countless hours behind the scenes to bring the very best to the market.

We’re excited for everything still to come. The harvest is just getting started, new products are arriving each week, and there are plenty of more Tuesdays filled with fresh food, familiar faces and community spirit ahead. Thank you for believing in local agriculture, small businesses, and the people behind every booth. We’ll see you in August!

Early Closure @ 2PM. Due to forecasted temperatures above 93°F, for the safety of our vendors, customers, and staff, the Chehalis Farmers Market will close early tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23rd at 2:00 PM.
