Please share! Rocky and Suki are officially available for adoption together! 💙🩷

Our volunteer rescued Suki in July when she was found alone and hungry. We later learned after a vet visit and x-rays that she had a fractured femur. 😿

The same volunteer rescued Rocky in August after hearing about a dumped kitten scream-meowing in a drainpipe. She and her husband rescued him that same evening under a pile of rocks. 🙀

These two have now healed and grown up together. They are best friends, and we are looking for a home where they can stay best buddies forever.

They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Rocky is approximately 3.5 months old, and Suki is approximately 5 months old.

While Rocky is your typical orange kitty, Suki is a bit more reserved around new people. Both are very affectionate and playful, and they would love to find a home together. They also do well with other friendly cats. ❤️

The adoption fee is $150 for the pair. We can set up a meet and greet with an approved adoption application, which can be completed here: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption.

Please like, comment, and share to help spread the word! 🐾

Unfortunately, we are temporarily unable to accept applications for new Trap-Neuter-Return projects. 🪤

We are currently working through a significant waitlist after receiving an overwhelming number of requests for assistance. While we know this may be disappointing, we want to encourage you to consider taking on trapping yourself.

Anyone can learn to trap! All of our volunteers started as beginners, and had to learn too. TNR may sound intimidating at first, but with patience and preparation, you can do it too. 🐈🐈‍⬛

Our website includes trapping instructions to get you started on your own: https://www.scratchinc.org/trapping.

If you have questions or need guidance, please email us at [email protected]. We're happy to help you navigate the process.

We have also included clinic information in the comments, organized by location, so you can see what options are available in your area. 🐾

Thank you for your patience and understanding. ❤️

We are wrapping up this Caturday and are so happy to share that Mochi (now named Mina) has been adopted!

She is the last of her littermates to be adopted, and now they are all in loving indoor homes (two of her brothers were even adopted together). We also spayed their mom this summer, ending the overpopulation cycle. 💜

Thank you, Cade and Emily, for adopting this beautiful baby. Happy tails, Mina! We hope you have the best life with your new family! 😻

Happy rainy Caturday from our beautiful, three-legged Athena, who is now available for adoption! 🩷

We rescued her a month ago from a parking lot behind a Food City. She had a spay-abort, and her ruptured eye was removed. She has also been combo tested, vaccinated, flea treated, and dewormed. Athena has spent the last month in foster care recovering and has turned into the most affectionate little girl.

She just had a re-check at the vet and had some x-rays done. The vet feels that she was born with the little nub of a front leg and has healed from her injured eye being removed. ❤️‍🩹 The vet thinks that Athena is approximately two years old.

Athena loves to cuddle and be petted, but she doesn't necessarily enjoy being picked up (which, to be fair, is totally normal for a lot of cats). Despite being a tripod, she is energetic and loves to play with her toys. She can even climb things!

We are looking for the perfect home for this special girl.✨ We think she would do best in a calm, quiet home without any young children. She would likely be okay with another friendly cat or smaller, cat-friendly dog, but her adopter would need to be willing to do a slow introduction.

Whoever adopts her will be very lucky, as she is such a great cat. Please let us know if you have any specific questions about Athena. You can complete our adoption application here: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption. 🐾

Our adorable lap-kitten, Jojo, is now available for adoption! 😻 Please like, comment, and share!

Jojo was recently rescued by one of our volunteers during a TNR project. His elderly caretaker couldn't bring him into her home and knew that he deserved a life indoors where he could be cherished and spoiled.

He is so sweet with other friendly cats and absolutely loves people! He is a lap-cat who also loves a good play session. 💙

Jojo is approximately six months old and is fully vetted. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, combo tested, flea treated, and dewormed.

Our adoption fee is $100. We can set up a meet and greet once your adoption application has been approved. You can complete that online here: https://www.scratchinc.org/adoption. 🐾

Another successful week of Trap-Neuter-Return! Our volunteers had eight community cats spayed/neutered (including one pregnant spay), vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), flea treated, dewormed, and ear tipped.

✨Some of the highlights include one cat being the eighth cat TNR'd at their colony, and three other cats bringing the total to 21 cats helped at their colony.✨

We also rescued a friendly, seven-week-old kitten who our friends at East Ridge Animal Services will be facilitating her vetting and adoption. She's already in the purrfect foster-to-adopt home! 🩷

Our friends at ERAS have so many cats and kittens available for adoption, and they facilitate foster to adopt homes, too. Please keep them in mind if you are looking to add a new kitty to your family. They also do a fantastic job with their own Trap-Neuter-Return program! 🐈‍⬛🐈

We are so lucky to have such amazing relationships with our local shelters. Teamwork makes the dream work!

We always need more people to adopt, foster, advocate, and TNR the community cats in their own neighborhood. Every effort helps!

From being abandoned at their first home to being adopted together into a loving family and a secure home of their own! 🥰

And thank you to all of our supporters for liking, commenting, and sharing our posts! These babies found their new home through our page, so every time you engage with our posts, you are helping us save lives. ❤️

We will have two more foster kittens neutered this week, so there will be even more adoptable kitties to share soon!

It's been such a busy week that we are just now getting around to posting a TNR update! We had eight community cats spayed/neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP & rabies), flea treated, dewormed, and ear tipped this week!

We had a total of 42 community cats spayed/neutered in September, including three spay aborts and even one eye enucleation. That brings our total to 322 community cats spayed/neutered so far in 2026! ❤️🐈‍⬛

As a reminder, we can help provide TNR services in the following areas within the Chattanooga city limits: Hixson, Red Bank, Lakesite, East Brainerd, Brainerd, Hwy 58/Jersey Pike, and East Ridge. We also scan each cat for a microchip and have reunited several lost pets over the years.

Please know that we are working off a long waitlist, so it may take a couple of months or more for us to assist you. We also need the caretaker's partnership to trap train and do the actual trapping. Teamwork makes the dream work! ✨

We are also happy to provide guidance if you want to TNR on your own. If we can do it, you can do it too!
