🙏Pray for Hayes🙏
I was able to make it out to both gatherings yesterday and pray so hard for Hayes with his friends and family. I handed out so many little crosses and hope those are reminders to keep praying and that Jesus Heals.
It was also great to see Dan and meet new friends!

My community has had a very tough two weeks. We tragically lost one of my Dad’s baseball players, my brother’s teammate and a friend to us all. We are also praying so hard for Hayes. Please pray for our communities and for upcoming weeks of peace.

Hope aCross the Nation - With Jillian, is a non-profit organization that is focused on helping children who are facing tragedy or difficult times. Owner/founder, Jillian Hummel, says that her mission is to bring comfort, hope and healing to children experiencing tragedy and loss by sharing God’s love through hand-painted wooden crosses - each with a meaningful Bible verse. The verses are intended to remind their recipients that they are loved, supported and never alone.

I was invited to another volunteer dinner, this time at my church, Hope Church. And then I got to walk the halls of my elementary school one last time! Yay for summer!!! ✝️🩷☀️

You all know Dan Beazley is the man who inspired me to start this journey of Hope aCROSS the Nation- with Jillian. He also suggested my mom take me to DC for a huge event! We packed up and took off on the fastest weekend trip ever! We stood on the National Mall for over 6 hours worshipping and hearing some of the best leaders of many different churches and government speak! One of my favorite speakers was actually a counselor who survived the Camp Mystic floods last summer. We ended with the most memorable performance by Chris Tomlin!

Tonight I got to go to the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for The Salvation Army Springfield IL & Sangamon County. I learned a lot about their services and cannot wait to volunteer more with them. I even shared some ideas with their Emergency Disaster Services Team Captain and cannot wait to possibly partner with them. 🩷✝️
