Our post bids condolences to the friends and family to our long time member and Army veteran Harvey S. Rothschild, who passed away recently. May he rest in peace.

Post 759 members,
The start time for our regular months membership meetings has been changed for the second and final time (I hope).
When we had our Post building and served a meal prior to the meeting we had a later start time.
Now....with our meetings at the Chatham-Auburn VFW it has been decided to have our start time be 6:30 p.m.
This will allow those of you that are still working folk to have time to attend.
Even without our open bar and dinner I hope you will be able to attend. There is info relayed at each meeting that will be of interest to all members of our Post.
I hope to see you at our next meeting (6 April) and many more in the future.

Annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 11 a.m.

The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs in partnership with the Springfield Elks Lodge #158, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Illinois World War II Memorial Committee, Interveterans Council of Sangamon County, Interveterans Burial Detail, Illinois National Guard, Sons & Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors, Dignitaries, and a host of others will assemble to honor the memory of those who lost their lives that fateful December day, as well as those who lived to tell the story.

Please join us in support of our men and women of the Armed Forces and the organizations who have helped those who served, and continue to help those who are still serving.
