Sons of the American Legion Chatham Squadron 759 Detachment of Illinois To be eligible, you must be a male descendant of a Veteran that Served during WWI, WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Persian.

All Male Descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of the American Legion, and such male descendents of Veterans who died in Service during WWI, WWII, the Korean War, The Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, the Persian Gulf war, and the War on terrorism, Desert Storm, and and Operation Enduring Freedom, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section 1, of the National

Constitution of the American Legion, or who died subsequent to their Honorable Discharge from such Service, shall be eligible for membership in The Sons of The American Legion. There shall be no forms or class of membership except an active membership.

Great news Wreaths Across America is matching wreath for wreath for all wreaths sponsored now until January 17, 2023. This is an awesome way for the Camp Butler to receive more wreaths and give us a good head start for December 2023.

If you are not required to put your Veteran's name or location you are not in the correct spot.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum will thank military veterans for their service to the country by offering them free admission on Veterans Day. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Special events include a performance by a military band, the Airlifter Brass, and a memorial flame burning outside the museum.

Military Veterans and active-duty personnel who wish to take advantage of the free admission on November 11 should bring a military ID.
