🦆 Friday, October 2 | United Way Duck Dash – Gering Civic Plaza
We’re joining our friends at United Way for the Duck Dash! 🎉 Stop by our table, meet some of our staff, and learn more about what DOVES has planned throughout October to bring attention to Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

🍂 Saturday, October 3 | Harvest Moon Festival – Dawes County Fairgrounds
We’re heading to Chadron for the Annual Harvest Moon Festival! Come find the DOVES table and try your luck at our jam-packed prize wheel. Where everyone’s a winner! 🎡🎁

While you’re there, take a stand with us in support of survivors by choosing your 1Thing. Bring the family, enjoy the festival, spin the wheel, and help us spread a little purple throughout Chadron! 💜🍁

There’s just something comforting about opening the pantry and knowing there’s enough to make a warm meal. 🏠🍲

Starting Monday, September 21 through Friday, October 30, The DOVES Program is teaming up with Mediation West to help Pack the Pantry!

We’re collecting the listed shelf-stable items to put together meal kits for The DOVES Program and the individuals and families we assist. Think of it like Grandma’s pantry, stocked with the basics, ready to turn a few simple ingredients into a meal when you need one most. 🥫🍝🫘💕

Our wonderful DOVES Awareness Ambassadors, Lane Miller and Ediann Jones, are hanging out at The Heirloom Market concert tonight! 💜🎵

They’ll be handing out fans, chatting with community members, and sharing a little more about The DOVES Program and the work we do throughout our communities. 🪭💜 If you’re at the concert, be sure to stop by, say hello, and grab a fan!

We're hiring a Bi-lingual Advocate.

If you speak Spanish and English, and you want to do work that matters where you live, come work with us.

DOVES advocates sit with people who are figuring out what comes next — safety, housing, court, benefits, or just a plan for the week. You don't have to have all the answers. You do have to listen well, keep your word, and believe people know their own lives best. We'll teach you the rest.

This is a full-time position based in Scottsbluff, with travel across the nine counties we've served since 1979. 36 hours a week. Paid training.
