Chadron Rotary Club

Chadron Rotary Club Welcome to Chadron Rotary Club! Please join us for lunch every Thursday at 12 p.m. at Country Kitchen. The Chadron Rotary Club was chartered May 1, 1920.

The Chadron Rotary Club meets each Thursday at noon at the Country Kitchen Meeting Room, and is the largest civic club in Chadron. For over 100 years we have provided dedicated service to our wonderful community. Each member has chosen to follow the Rotary Motto of "Service Above Self." This can be seen in the contributions our members make in the community within Rotary and outside the confines o

f the club. We are a club of leaders, learners, and doers. It is a passion of Rotary to not only further our own community, but the world in which we live. This is accomplished through community, regional, and global projects, all of which Chadron Rotary gladly participates in. Through weekly meetings, friendships and networking develop into lasting relationships. Guest speakers enhance each meeting by expanding the club's horizons. Following the leadership of Rotarians worldwide we chose to serve, locally and abroad.

Thanks for coming and sharing your knowledge on immunizations and how important they are!

August is National Immunization Awareness Month, and today Chadron Rotary welcomed a timely and important presentation from JaeAnn, RN at Western Community Health Resources (WCHR).

As WCHR’s Immunization Coordinator for the past three years, JaeAnn shared information about the HPV vaccine and its role in preventing cancer. HPV is one of the most common viral infections, and vaccination can help prevent more than 90% of HPV-related cancers when given on time.

We’re grateful to JaeAnn for helping educate our community and to Chadron Rotary for providing a forum to discuss the importance of prevention through immunization.

Pictured with JaeAnn are Chadron Hospital CEO Jon and Chadron Rotary substitute president Jack.

Protecting our community starts with education, prevention, and informed healthcare decisions. Talk with your healthcare provider about recommended immunizations for you and your family. To learn more about the services available through Western Community Health Resources or to schedule an appointment, visit WCHR.net.

💙 Chadron Hospital Shares New Volunteer Program with Chadron Rotary Club 💙

This week, Alynn, Social Worker, and Jacci, Marketing & Public Relations, were honored to be guests of the Chadron Rotary Club to share exciting news about Chadron Hospital’s new Volunteer Program.

The program is launching with our first volunteer role: Volunteer Wayfinders. These volunteers will help greet patients and visitors, provide directions throughout the hospital, and create a welcoming, supportive experience from the moment someone walks through our doors.

Alynn shared the story behind the program, including the research and planning that helped bring the vision to life. The goal is simple but meaningful: help patients and families feel comfortable, supported, and connected as they navigate their healthcare journey.

We also enjoyed hearing thoughtful questions and ideas from Rotary members about future volunteer opportunities as the program continues to grow. Community involvement has always been at the heart of Chadron Hospital, and we’re excited to build a volunteer program that reflects that same spirit of service.

Interested in becoming a Volunteer Wayfinder? Applications are now being accepted!
