UPDATE!! WE HAVE A $1000 DONATION MATCH!! All donations up to $1000 will be matched and we desperately need it!! Even if new ones aren't brought in we are still responsible for all of the horses still here that haven't been or can't be adopted!! Thank you guys and love y'all!!

We need some funds to have several feet done ASAP as well as fly spray and some medical supplies to treat some reactions from these horrible flies. I'll also need to make a feed run next week. We go through fly spray like water and we just haven't been able to recover financially from the loss of Rocky, and then China. The hits just keep coming. I also am going to try my best and get my sanctuary herd moved this week and I know they also need their feet done as well!! So if you can donate please do. if not just share and say a prayer for us! 🚩🚩 Emergency rescue
late last night I was contacted and asked to assist in situation that's very disturbing. apparently a county which I will not name yet stepped in and took a mother cat and a couldn't do it passed away and left the kitten that was alive to fend for itself. this kitten is not in good shape I will absolutely have to stop by a vet as soon as I get this kitten to assess the situation to see if it could even survive. the kitten is infested with fleas very anemic from what I'm understanding so definitely needs to see a vet. also a mother cat with three and a half week old kittens who is still nursing also all infested with fleas just an emergency situation all around I have said that I will step in and tried to save these there are several other animals that it's just a situation I really can't speak much about right now. I'm on my way there to get the ones that will be released to me. so I'm asking for desperate donations to coming quickly so that I can stop by a vet as soon as I pick these babies up to give them the best chance of survival to see what we can get done. I will update more as soon as I get on scene and can assist things for myself but definitely need donations to take these animals to vet first thing and foremost before I bring them into Rocky Ridge Horse Rescue to my home

EDITED TO ADD: A HUGE THANK YOU TO UNCLE RANDY AND MY BROTHER Anthony Shuman for laying my girl and her final place in the ground with such carefulness and respect. and also a huge thank you too my sister-in-law Elysia Marie Shuman who never left my side the entire time. my whole family surrounded me and comforted me as they best knew how which was perfect in every way. I love my family and I love these horses and they knew how much I love all of them and they knew how much China meant to me. she will forever be missed and forever be loved by every single one of us.
*** EDITED TO ADD: I'm so sorry for all the edits but I'm exhausted and everything is a blur. Also 2 very special people Chris and Penni Starliper were at the farm unloading a dump trailer full of sawdust for the run ins when all of the chaos started and they unloaded all the sawdust then CAME BACK later with several bags of feed and a couple bags of beet pulp because I never got to go to the feed store. They are Zolani's owners. They are 2 very special and wonderful people that are not my friends but family. And always will be. They have been so dedicated to me and the rescue since day 1. Never ever have they made a promise and not followed through. I would do anything for them! Today was so very heartbreaking but the love of all of the people around me is just beyond words. And I needed that love more than ever today

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who donated to help lay my girl China to rest. Today was one of the hardest days of my life. She was the matriarch of Rocky Ridge Horse Rescue .. She started it all! When she was put in the ground today a part of my soul went with her. I will miss her so so much and can't even think about her without crying. She was 29 years old! My heart And soul are just completely broken and shattered .... probably forever. I pray she met Rocky at the gate and they're running together.

PLEASE HELP! The first horse , the matriarch of Rocky Ridge Horse Rescue is going to be laid to rest. She started to colic and isn't doing well. She's very weak and is just telling me she's tired. She's 29 years old and has had a damn good life here and this is breaking me all the way to the depths of my soul. The bank account is drained and I need help to let China go in peace and be buried. Please. I can't take anymore begging. Dr. stafford is on his way. Please

Should I be outside doing crap, meandering around just burning crap with my new blow torch? No I shouldn't. But if I sit in that house for one more freaking second praying for a phone call that will give me the closure I so desperately want and deserve, then I'm going to go completely insane. Deep down I know it won't come no matter what amount of an award I put out there... WHY? BECAUSE THE SHOOTER IS A COWARD!! If you're big enough to hold that rifle and shoot it without a care where the bullet lands then u should be big enough to step up and own your mistake. BUT U WONT. CUZ THATS NOT WHAT COWARDS DO! COWARDS HIDE JUST LIKE WHAT YOURE DOING. You are a murdering coward and always will be. Take a long look at what u stole! Months of recovery and resilience from the bravest strongest horse in the world. A chance to have a new better life with people who would love him forever. YOU STOLE THAT! SO you're a thief and a murderer.

To whoever shot my horse Rocky I will find out who you are. Today I lost my horse because of your ignorance and callousness! You exploded his humorus bone and we had to lay him to rest today! This horse has survived so much just to be shot down by some idiot who doesn't deserve to breathe. If you're smart you will come forward and admit what u did. If not I won't stop until I. find out who you are. Now my. horse is dead. Hundreds in vet bills and hundreds in burial costs all for you to shoot a gun I don't need. I'm sorry Rocky.
