🏡 Mary Sunshine House Is Almost at Capacity!

Mary Sunshine House is an independent living community in Central, South Carolina, for adults with autism and/or intellectual disabilities. We provide affordable apartment-style housing and essential daily staffing support to help residents strengthen their independent living skills, build confidence, form friendships, and become more involved in the community.

We currently have limited availability:

🔹 One entire two-bedroom apartment is available for one person who prefers to live independently or for two people who would like to share an apartment.

🔹 We also have a roommate opening for a female resident interested in sharing an apartment with another female resident.

Each 702-square-foot apartment includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, an in-unit washer and dryer, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a stove. Internet is included in the monthly rent.

Today marks the final day of our Mary Sunshine House Let Freedom Ring Campaign, and we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our mission over the past several weeks.

Because of supporters like you, we have raised $2,675 toward our $5,000 goal! We are incredibly grateful for every gift, every share, and every word of encouragement. Your generosity is changing lives.

At Mary Sunshine House, adults with autism and intellectual disabilities are experiencing the freedom of living independently, developing life skills, building lasting friendships, and becoming active members of our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mary Sunshine House Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 9!

What an incredible day it was as we celebrated this exciting milestone with our residents, families, Board of Directors, community partners, elected officials, donors, volunteers, and friends. Your presence made the celebration truly special, and we are grateful for the overwhelming support shown to Mary Sunshine House.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mayor Ken Dill, the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce, our Board of Directors, and the families of our residents for helping make this event such a memorable occasion. Your encouragement and commitment to our mission continue to inspire us.

Most importantly, this ribbon cutting ceremony would not have been possible without our residents, who are the heart of Mary Sunshine House. Your determination, resilience, and accomplishments are the reason we celebrate. Every milestone we reach is because of you and the community we are building together. Thank you for inspiring us each and every day.

Our ribbon cutting was about much more than apartments and buildings—it was a celebration of a community where adults with autism and intellectual disabilities are empowered to live independently, build meaningful relationships, and experience a true sense of belonging.
