On September 19th Renew hosted a trash cleanup on Kane Creek Road. Thank you to all the members and their families who showed up and volunteered their Saturday to spend the day with us. While the area had been scouted not too long before the cleanup, there was still much more than previously seen. It only took us a little over an hour before we had filled up the truck and trailer! From what looked like a dump from construction remodel to tires to mattresses, there was anything you could think of out there. We all have a deep appreciation for the woods and our community. Trash dumping is a serious problem, and we are hoping to keep creating more opportunities to continue our work on Kane Creek. We would also like to give a special thanks to our own Jared Pearson who covered the event for the Rogue River Press as well as volunteered!

BROTHERHOOD NIGHT UPDATE AND HALLOWEEN EVENT

As we move through fall, Renew has made some changes to the brotherhood night schedule. We will now be hosting brotherhood night following the Medford unit meeting the 1st Monday of each month at Ferment and Fire. We hope this change can better accommodate everyone's busy evening schedules! If you're hoping to start a brotherhood night in your area, please let us know and we can help you set that up.

Renew is very excited to announce that we will be hosting a spooky night at Fort Vannoy Farms. On October 30th, join us for dinner at Growler Guys Taphouse Grants Pass before we enter the haunted corn maze to get spooked! RSVPs are required by October 16th as we have to prepurchase tickets. Please read the info on the RSVP as well as the Haunted Corn Maze website for more details.
