The Humane Society of Houston County is a 100% donation-funded and volunteer-based organization dedicated to the rescue and welfare of animals in our community. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving the citizens and animals of Houston County, Georgia. Our volunteers work tirelessly to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering, micro-chipping and responsible

pet care. serves the Houston County area including Warner Robins, Perry, Centerville, Bonaire and Kathleen covering more than 376 square miles. We want nothing more than to save as many homeless animals as we can and find them wonderful forever families. We rely entirely on private donations, self-generated income (adoption and receiving fees), foundations, and corporations for all funding. is not a branch of any national organization such as Humane Society of the United States, nor do we receive funds from any city, county, state or federal source. A Summer to Remember for Nessie!

Its vacay time for Nessie! Little Nessie has been enjoying her walks! She says the peanut butter bones are a dining experience that even the most sophisticated pallette can enjoy. Rolling and sunbathing in the grass were her fav! She is looking forward to her week ending pup cup!

Oh no!!! Our kitten babies are about to eat us out of house at home!  Currently they are about to run out of Fancy Feast can kitten food.
The byproduct of this situation results in us also getting low on Purina dry kitten, food, laundry detergent,  tall kitchen size garbage bags, Clorox, dish detergent, clumping kitty litter, and our adult kitties could use some Purina Sensitive Stomach dry food.

A Summer to Remember!

One of our lovely volunteers is hard at work creating summertime fun for our residents! Each week we will feature a different dog.

Dogs will receive their own private pool, a longer daily walk, a peanut butter bone each afternoon, and an aroma therapy bath and brush with a pup cup will wrap up their vacay!

You can sponsor a dog for $10 and remember to include your address as you will receive a postcard "signed" by the dog you've sponsored!
