Forest Glen Neighborhood Watch Association

Forest Glen Neighborhood Watch Association Looking out for our neighbors. And keeping up with the crimes in our community as well as recognizing special events in our small part of the community.

We have special guest speakers. Our neighbors are watching. Our neighborhood watch is for the neighborhood Surrounded by Carl Vinson, Elberta Road and Collin’s Ave. right now it consist of mostly the “Glen” streets, Woodhaven and Valencia and the roads up to the Centerville fire department. We will have a police liaison to tell us the stats for our area and answer questions. He will let us know wh

at a suspicious person or vehicle may look like and what do and how to report what you see to 911. We hope to have guest speak to us about special events, opportunities to volunteer, and most importantly meet the neighbors who you will be watching out for and who will be watching out for you. We will have groups like Centerville Fire, local insurance agents, volunteer organizations and members of the homeless coalition come provide information about changes in recommendations from everything like smoke detectors to opportunities to volunteer. We want our community to be partners with all of our first responders and our neighbors get to know each other.

Hi neighbors. Not sure if you heard but one of our own got hit by a truck last week and she suffered injuries that are keeping her on bed rest for at least several weeks. We are setting up a meal train for the family. Colleen is under strict orders to rest for her broken bones. Sonny was with her when she was hit and had been taking care of her. If you can just go to the link and pick a day and follow the instructions. It will notify them so they can know what to expect in meal planning. Thank you so much in advance for helping this family who is always up for helping others.

Colleen was hit by a truck last week and has broken ribs and shoulder and a knee injury. She is absolutely supposed to stay in rest mode so she can heal. Sonny is taking good care and forcing her to rest. Hard job. If you can please join us ion this train and make sure their meals are covered for at...

Hey yall, just wanted to share that a fox has been spotted. This is just a reminder to keep an eye on your pets when you let them out, dont leave out any food as this will also attract them. Please be safe and stay warm in the coming days and weeks as winter is rolling in full swing now too.
