Our club had a good turn out for the Fall Region meeting. There were lots of bargain plants, thanks to IndianCamp Daylilies Dave Richardson. The Georgia Daylily table had some interesting things such as bird houses and some Orange Pagoda plants. Joe Goudeau from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was entertaining and humble. He is also a joke teller and his phrase of the day was “My plants, my rules!” His auction went fast and we all scarfed up some bargains. Tim Bell followed with his auction plants. Thanks Bell's Daylily Garden. A summer Super Summit is planned for July 24. Mark your calendar now.

On July 25 our club came together and enjoyed some finger foods and a presentation by Bruce and Kathy Fowler. Kathy Rich Fowler conducted an auction of some of their introductions and told us she is running a 50% off sale. Catch that at Facebook group Kathy’s Daylilies sale. For club business we had Emily Kemp volunteer to fill the club secretary role. We will come together again on the last Saturday in August at the Centerville Lions Club 12- noon.

We had a great time at the summer picnic at the Fennells in June. We had around 13 in attendance. We enjoyed James Fennell presentation and the burgers grilled by his son Scott and grandson Gabe.
